The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed in regards to the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to more info reach-out into a superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The company point produced for intervention encounters a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all buyers and improve access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
